Welcome!
Welcome to Chandler High! I look forward collaborating and connecting with the CUSD community.
My Education and Professional Background
I am beginning my 4th year as a school counselor. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from New Mexico State University, and my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State. Prior to entering into education, I provided trauma therapy services for a community behavioral health organization. I enjoyed the learning opportunities that I had, and I look forward to continuing to support the needs
My Educational Philosophy
Everyone has the potential to grow and learn. We all have areas of improvement, and educators have the ability to help facilitate that growth. I believe that we have the potential to enhance the protective factors within this community, to strengthen each individual's resiliency. School can be challenging, but it also serves a safe space for so many. My hope is for students to develop their identity and gain the tools that will help them be successful in life. I acknowledge that there may be challenges, but we have the ability to overcome those obstacles. I welcome you and look forward to seeing you around!
