Greetings Chandler Family! I look forward to continuing to support our CHS students, families and staff and working together to support student success.
My Education and Professional Background
I have a varied education and professional background. I completed a Master's degree of Education, School Counseling K-12 through Northern Arizona University (2019); a Masters of Arts in English (2012, NAU); a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Arizona State University (2010) and an Associate's Degree from Mesa Community College (2008). I spent five years working in higher education. I worked with Access ASU before transitioning to a role as an Admissions Counselor with NAU and a Project Director with NAU AmeriCorps programs. I also served in the AmeriCorps in 2013-2014.
My Educational Philosophy
My philosophy in supporting students and families is rooted in empowerment, advocacy, and collaboration. I strive to facilitate development and growth to help students realize talents, strengths, and abilities as well as the resources and support to help students and families along their journey.
