    The academic program is organized on a modified block schedule and calendar year.

    A full course load is six credits. The graduation requirements for the class of 2024-2025 is 22 credits. 

     

  • Grading Scale All courses (grades 9th –12th) are included in the cumulative GPA. AP and Honors classes are weighted by one point. Grades are recorded on the transcript.

  • Advanced Placement (AP).  There are 27 AP courses are offered in English 11, English 12, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Principles, Computer Science A , Physics 1, Physics C, Environmental Science, Spanish 4, Spanish 5, French 4, French 5, German 4, German 5, Psychology, Studio Art 2D, Drawing, Studio Art 3D, Art History, United States History, Human Geography, Government & Constitution, World History, European History and Macroeconomics.

    Honors classes are offered in English 9, English 10, Geometry, Algebra 2, Brief Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, French, German, and Spanish. Eleven honors classes are offered.

    Dual Enrollment enables students to enroll in freshmen col-lege courses and earn college credits at local institutions of higher education. Course offerings at Perry include: Psychology, Sports Marketing, Commercial Photography, Math, Chemistry, Human Biology, Physics, Spanish, French, German, Sign Language, Early Childhood Education, Government, Graphics Arts and Culinary Arts. Approximately 484 students earned College credit through the 39 Dual Enrollment classes in the 2023-2024 school year.

    Advanced Placement (AP) Results:  In May 2024, 597 students took an AP course. 855 exams were given, with 351 stu-dents scoring a 3 or higher.

     

    Class of 2024 Post High School Plans:

    · 52% of our senior class will be attending a 4-year university

    · 21% will be attending a community college 

    · 15% have enlisted in the military, workforce or attend trade school

    · $22,979,588 was earned in scholarships by the Class of 2024
