On February 24th, Hamilton High School hosted the 20th annual Hamilton Invitational Science and Engineering Fair (HISEF) featuring fabulous student projects!  Seven hundred projects were registered and 1,200 students competed -- 231 projects at the senior division and 469 projects from grades 5-8.

Dr. Matt Strom - Master of Ceremonies and Assistant Superintendent for K-12 Educational Services, Nishon Adams - Supply Chain Sourcing Manager from Intel, and Nitish Peela - former Hamilton High School winner and current ASU BSE: Biomedical Engineering student, NSF Graduate Research Fellow and founder of a medical diagnostic company all gave empowering speeches to a standing room-only crowd at the awards ceremony.  The halls inside were packed with over 50 vendors. Outside, visitors enjoyed the delicious Doughlicious Food Truck, rocket launches on the football field courtesy of Orbital ATK, a demonstration from the Chandler Fire, Health and Medical Department, and astronomers leading sun gazing activities.
