Attendance is due before 10pm Sunday nights. If you haven't completed it by then, you will receive an automated email with a list of the dates that attendance is missing. This includes weekends. You can enter zero minutes for any day (including weekends and holidays) that you did not do school work. This will prevent the unwanted reminder email.
The expectation that was in your Student Success Contract is an average of 5 hours/weekday for 1st-3rd grade students, and and average of 6 hours/weekday for 4th-6th grade students.
You aren't able to enter future dates, but you DO have the ability to enter attendance as far as two weeks in the past. If you need to make a correction to a date that you already submitted (green on the attendance calendar), please email our registrar, Christine Rose rose.christine@cusd80.com
First, log into your Student Portal by selecting Campus Student from the Infinite Campus screen.
Enter your username and password.
Select "More" from the navigation panel on the left. Then select "COA Attendance Submission" from the navigation panel on the right.
Click on the date on the calendar that you wish to enter your attendance for. In the panel that opens on the right, enter the number of hours/minutes you used to complete school work on that day and "Save" or "Submit". You can only select days in red. Green dates have already been submitted. If you need to make changes to those or add attendance further back than two weeks, you will need to contact the attendance clerk. You are not able to enter dates in the future.
Common Mistakes:
If you mistakenly log into the parent portal, the parent name and not the student name will be in the "Welcome" heading at the top of the page. You will also see a calendar that has NO red or green and NO classes to select from:
If you log into the Student Portal, but select the Attendance prompt in the left navigation panel, you will only see attendance totals with nowhere to enter times.
