The 21-22 Championship Season in Review
Fall Practices - We started with less than ten players and quickly doubled that number.
In October we scrimmaged the other CUSD schools in the Jamboree.
We practiced through winter and into the spring.
We opened the regular season at home against Chandler, prevailing 20-2. Wins over Casteel and ACP sent us into the break at 3-0.
After a 35-8 victory over Basha, we ended the season with four straight shutouts and an 8-0 regular season record.
In the Semi-Final we clashed with Chandler once again. After trailing 6-0 after the 1st quarter, we stormed back to win 27-6.
The Championship game vs Casteel was a low scoring thriller. We trailed 3-0 at the half. A touchdown pass from Catarina to Bri gave us a 7-3 lead that our defense refused to relinquish. After ninety minutes of hard fought flag football, our Hamilton girls had captured the first Arizona Girls Flag Football championship.
