VITA is the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, providing expert tax preparation services free of charge to qualified households.

VITA at the CARE Center is provided in partnership with Mesa United Way and the City of Chandler. VITA is available to low- and moderate-income households.

Our 2023 VITA season was very successful, with 230 households receiving assistance to complete tax returns with the help of 14 volunteers who served for 505 hours.
