Testing Resources
- PSAT/ACT/SAT information - general by grade level testing information. Which test, when and why for all college-bound students. Non-college-bound students should take these tests - just in case you want to attend college later on in life.
- PSAT/ACT/SAT test prep/dates - actual testing dates for each and test prep.
College Application Process - Explains the application process from beginning to end. Links are provided to the State Schools, Common App, and University of California App. Rule of thumb - If you are applying to the state schools - use their application process (the overall time to complete is shorter - no essay necessary). UC schools only accept applications from their own application process.
Scholarship Information - for many families, money for college is by far the most stressful subject of a student's senior year. You will find multiple resources to research and unlock opportunities for scholarships and financial aid. Make sure to join the senior Google Classroom - as scholarship information is updated as we get them! Just a reminder that applications open and closed timeframes all differ.
- FAFSA - Federal Student Aid - first step for students to get additional funds.
- IMPACT Chandler Scholars - If you signed up as a FRESHMAN and continue to meet the overall requirements - don't miss out on this scholarship!
- Flinn Scholarship - With the world-class education made possible by the Flinn Scholarship, you can become an agent of discovery, creativity and leadership who will make a difference. The Flinn Scholarship—valued at more than $120,000—covers tuition, fees, housing, and meals at one of Arizona’s public universities, plus study abroad.
- Baird Scholarship - The Baird Foundation offers four-year scholarships to exceptional students graduating from Arizona high schools every year. Over four years, the Baird Scholarship is valued at almost $100,000.
- Scholarship Websites - National and Arizona specific scholarship opportunities. Plus, you will find a handful of websites where you can search for scholarships to apply for!
- Going Merry is one scholarship site that can help you with obtaining scholarships - sign up at https://www.goingmerry.com/
- WUE/WICHE Program - Need discounts to help with out-of-state tuition?
