• Native American Funding Resources

      Native American students have been historically underrepresented at many colleges and universities in the United States. To help provide financial support for students who identify as Native American, many colleges and private organizations offer Native American scholarships.These scholarships include full-ride scholarships, awards that support Native American women, and other scholarships that are for minority students in general.

      There are many other funding opportunities. Simple searches will uncover many. Below is one of the largest.  

      The American Indian College Fund gives a wide variety of scholarships, each with different values, ranging up to a full ride for four years. Overall, they have awarded over 143,000 scholarships as of 2021, and distributed over 237.1 million dollars to Native communities. Many of their scholarships are in partnership with other organizations, and as such, the value of their opportunities can vary widely. However, it is an invaluable resource that allows you to plug into many different opportunities with one application. Don’t miss out on this one!
