E.J. Martin - HEAD COACH
Independent Sports Professional & Instructor, Health/Fitness, Strength/Speed/Conditioning, Sports Nutrition, Entrepreneur.
Coach Martin, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, was a two sport high school athlete in football and track & field. He still holds a number of records to this day. He had All-State honors on the football field and in the 100m dash. He was a four-time State Champion and All-American in both the 110H and 300IH events and was one of the premier hurdlers in the country.
Coach Martin earned a full athletic scholarship to Michigan State University to continue his football and track & field careers. He was a three-year letter winner, team captain, and Big Ten Champion for the Spartans during his time in East Lansing, Michigan. Coach Martin graduated with a degree in Communications with a minor in Business. After college, Coach Martin ran professionally and was on the IAAF World and USATF Top Times lists, both indoor and outdoor. He was a multiple-time qualifier for USA Track and Field National Championships, both indoor and outdoor and at the Olympic Trials.
Coach Martin has a couple of businesses now and also trains kids up to be professional athletes nationwide. He enjoys teaching youth through professional athletes the proper technique, fundamentals, and mechanics on how to run. He has produced a number of state and national champions in the jumps, sprints, and hurdle events on every level. Coach Martin started Quicksilver Track Club AZ as a way to help our youth become all they want to be and to help them excel in whatever it is that they choose to do on and off the playing field! Coach Martin has two daughters that love sports as well!

Tim Harden - SprintsNow retired, Tim Harden was an 8-time NCAA Division 1 All-American and 10-time All-SEC while attending the University of Kentucky. His post collegiate accomplishments include being a top ten, world ranked 60m and 100m sprinter with numerous achievements at all levels of competition. His 60m time of 6.43 seconds still ranks as 4th fastest time ever! Coach Harden's philosophy is, “It is every athlete’s duty and responsibility to max out their God-given talent."Awards and Achievements:- SEC Indoor 60m Champion 1994,1995,1996

Dave DeSilva - Pole Vault/Decathlon
Coach DeSilva brings a wealth of experience to the table for the Husky team. He has been a Varsity head coach in track, football, basketball, and wrestling for over 25 years, throughout California and Arizona. Now in his 8th year as the Pole Vault Coach at Hamilton, he is also the Head Wrestling Coach at Tempe Preparatory Academy. In the last six seasons, Hamilton vaulters have qualified for 21 State Championship appearances, finishing top ten 14 times, placing top four 9 times, and earning 3 state titles. Out of Fort Bragg High School, Coach DeSilva went first to Shasta College, then onto Sacramento State, competing in Football, Wrestling and Track, and he concluded college - studying English and Astrophysics - after signing with the NFL as a kicker and punter. Dave is an educator within the Chandler Unified School District and a Timberfaller in Northern California when school is out. He has two sons who are also teaching in the Chandler District.

Samantha Bowe - Jumps/Multi-Events
Samantha graduated from Arizona State University where she received her master's degree in Sports Law and Business. Along with her master's, she has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science that she obtained from the University of New Mexico where she competed on the women's track & field team as a heptathlete.
Ms. Bowe was a continuous top four placer in the Mountain West Conference for the pentathlon indoors and the heptathlon outdoors. In 2015, she was an Outdoor National Regional Qualifier in the Long Jump.
Samantha is from Albuquerque, New Mexico where she grew up in an athletic family with three older brothers, Jake, Gus and Val, and where she was raised by her parents, Sam and Pam Bowe. When she isn't coaching, Samantha is a part owner of Legends Performance & Wellness, where she is a personal trainer.
James Golden - Throws
James Golden has been coaching at the high school level for over 25 years. James was a letter winner for Smith Valley Bulldogs in Smith, Nevada, participating in football, basketball and track and field. He was part of a state championship relay team and threw shot and disc. From there, he played football at Eastern Arizona College and in 1991 began coaching for Rite of Passage in Minden, NV.
Coach Golden moved back to Arizona in 2001, working at Canyon State Academy, formally the Arizona Boys Ranch, where he led the Rams to back-to-back state track and field championships in 2006 and 2007. He was the Head Coach at Bourgade Catholic in Phoenix from 2008-2012. He was the head coach for the Williamsfield Blackhawks from 2012-2018.
James joined the Hamilton program in 2019, taking over the shot and discus program. In just a short amount of time he has been able to work with athletes to qualify for the State Tournament.
Coach Golden is also the shot and discus coach for Hamilton’s club program, Quicksilver. A full-time Special Ed teacher in the Higley district for the past seven years, he and his wife, Kristin, have two children and reside in Chandler.
