• AP Psychology
The AP Psychology course is designed to introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of behavior and mental processes by exploring the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology. Students also learn about the ethics and methods psychologists use in their science and practice. Students are encouraged to take the College Board’s Advanced Placement Exam in May. Students who score a four or five on the exam earn college credit for Intro to Psychology at most colleges; many colleges will give credit for a score of three. In addition, students are eligible to earn dual-enrollment credit for Psychology 101 through Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Students can find all course materials (i.e., syllabus, calendars, notes, assignments, etc) in Google Classroom.
