About Mr. Bernier
I am one of the original Perry High School teachers from way back in 2007. Back then we had a mere 800 students. Currently we are approaching 3500! I came to Perry from Marcos De Niza High School where I taught Government, Psychology, US History, World History, and Multimedia and Film. I also taught at Osborn and Altadena Middle Schools. I am a So. Cal native and a proud graduate of Hart High School where I played football, baseball and ran track. I played college football for 3 years before transferring to ASU where I graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. I also have a Masters in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. I got my feet wet in the broadcasting world as an associate producer at the old KZZP 104.7 FM before working as the Assistant Director of Video Operations with the Arizona Cardinals and the USC Trojans. In my free time I enjoy mountain biking, golfing, photography, triathlons, watching ASU football and spending time with my wife, two boys, daughter, and my Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
