INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
Reporting an Absence:As a reminder for parents/guardians, please call the absence line when a student is going to be out of school. The direct number for reporting an absence is 480-224-2103. Leave the following information in your message: student’s first and last name, student I.D. number, date of the absence, reason for the absence, your name and relationship to the student, and a telephone number where you can be reached during the day. You have 24 hours to excuse the absence.
Homework Requests:Students that have missed three or more days of school can request homework by contacting teachers via email. Visit our school website at www.bashabears.com to see their faculty pages and contact information.
Sign Out Policy:Parent/guardian must sign students out in the Attendance Office and show picture ID in order to pick up student. Anyone other than the parent/guardian picking up student must be listed on the emergency information.Plan ahead and make arrangements when picking up your student. It is helpful if you can have student meet you in the Attendance Office between classes or at lunch. Knowing your student’s schedule is another helpful tool.
