I am originally from Warwick, New York. I moved to Arizona in 1990 to attend Arizona State University. After graduating from the greatest university on the planet, I began teaching in the Scottsdale School District, first at Mohave Middle School, then at Desert Mountain High School for 8 years. During this time I used my summers to travel around the country and earn my masters degree from Northern Arizona University. After getting married and buying a house in Chandler, I really wanted to teach in the community in which I lived. In 2003, I was hired at Chandler High where my journey in teaching and education continues. I am very fortunate to have a job I love- teaching the best class there is to the best kids there are!
