Background:
Lindsay Daly (formerly Palbykin) grew up in Tempe, Arizona where she attended Corona del Sol High School. After her graduation, Mrs. Daly headed to the Midwest to attend the University of Missouri on a swimming and academic scholarship—GO TIGERS! UMC is where she discovered her calling to become an educator. After receiving her degree, Daly relocated to Arizona—a place where she can be closer to friends and family, and continue to pursue her passion of helping young minds understand the beauty of reading literature and the power of writing. After teaching for seven years, Mrs. Daly earned her master’s degree and changed job titles: working at CUSD’s Instructional Resource Center as an Instructional Specialist (helping to build curriculum, coach teachers, and plan district-wide professional development). After missing the classroom and working with students, Mrs. Daly decided to return home to BHS in 2014.
“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”
