Music Education Philosophy
"Music is an essential part of human expression. In the moments of our lives when it is essential to express ourselves, we find music there as a willing companion. Whether we are celebrating a wedding, remembering loved ones lost, finding a moment of inspiration, or experiencing moments of joy, music is with us."
It is my belief that the study of music connects us to being human.
My philosophy of music education is that every student can benefit from learning how to perform, create, and understand music.
“We are the music makers, we are the dreamers of dreams” Arthur O’Shaunessy
