Welcome!
Hi, my name is Annette Weidenbach and I am so excited to share this wonderful year of Kindergarten with your child! I feel so blessed with the opportunity to share my passion for teaching with my students! I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful daughters together, plus a handsome, furry, little 4-legged son named Charlie :)
My Education and Professional Background
I am originally from Brooklyn, New York and transferred in 1992 to attend Northern Arizona University. I graduated NAU in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Master’s degree with Grand Canyon University in Curriculum and Instruction. I am also Spaulding 1 certified and have an Early Childhood Endorsement. I started my educational career at Porter Elementary with the Mesa School District. I enjoyed teaching grades 1st, 3rd, and 4th during my years at Porter. Through Porter Elementary, I discovered my love for teaching the younger grades and have been a pre-k teacher for 15 years. I had the wonderful opportunity to teach kindergarten at CTA Independence. However, I had a strong passion to teach the children of my community in Adora Trails and that brought me to Patterson Elementary. I am honored to be part of the amazing staff at Patterson and look forward to a fabulous year making long-lasting memories in kindergarten!
My Educational Philosophy
I believe each child has the ability to create a successful educational career with the support of their teacher and family working together as a community. I truly devote time connecting with each child and fulfilling their individual needs to build a confident learner and have the mindset that they can be successful and achieve anything they consistently put effort towards. As their teacher, I am proud to stand by their side cheering them along the way and guiding them towards their goals.
