Casteel High School

I am a proud graduate of Arizona State University having earned a B.A. in Spanish, an M.A. in Spanish, and a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature and Culture. Over the last 15 years, I have taught a variety of Spanish courses—from beginner to advanced—at ASU and at Scottsdale Community College where I continue to teach as an adjunct faculty.  I have also worked as a Spanish tutor in the Writing Center at SCC. I am excited about starting my sixth year at Casteel HS where I have taught Spanish 2, Honors Spanish 3, AP Spanish Language and Culture, and AP Spanish Literature and Culture classes.  I have lived and worked in Guatemala and southern Mexico.  I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Q'eqchi'.
