    Welcome!

    Welcome to Room 15! My name is Kayla Bourque and I am so excited to have your child in my class this year. We will have so much fun while we learn and grow!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. After graduating high school, I attended Arizona State University, majoring in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education with an SEI endorsement. I graduated in 2018 and started teaching at Conley in January of 2019.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Every child is very unique and capable of learning. It is my responsibility as the teacher to differentiate the learning, so each child acknowledges their exceptional ability to learn. An effective teacher must develop a nurturing and welcoming class community, where every child can feel safe and loved. By creating an environment where a child feels comfortable to explore and challenge their learning capacity, I believe that each child will be able to reach their ultimate potential.
