    Welcome!

    Welcome to Mr. Prince’s 7th Grade Social Studies! This year we will be able to explore important events from our past, and hopefully use this knowledge to shape our future. Feel free to always reach out to me if you have any problems, questions, or concerns. Looking forward to a wonderful year!

    You may also have me for Life Connections and Careers. In this class we will be exploring different skills and behaviors that will establish healthy and productive habits for the real world. We will also investigate different colleges / programs that you may be interested in!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Northern Arizona University (Go Lumberjacks!) with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with a focus on middle grades Social Studies. I also recently received my Master's degree in Educational Technology this past year. During college I worked for Bogle Junior High, School in CUSD, as a Paraprofessional. During this time I primarily worked in the special education department. I am passionate about Social Studies instruction, and its ability to open a window into our past and guide our decisions into the future.

    I believe that education is a key to unlock unlimited possibilities. As an educator it is my responsibility to facilitate student progress and growth so that all my students may become confident, courageous, and capable citizens.
