    My Education and Professional Background

    I began studying cello and  piano at age 8. In high school, I performed in 15 concerts in Europe with 'America's Youth in Concert' as a cellist and also as a soprano in the choir. I also performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City with this large student group. I have taught school orchestra, band, show choir, and drama. At home, I teach private music lessons on violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, and voice.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Learning music instills self-discipline, respect, dedication, character, confidence and builds a vast knowledge of the fine arts. It creates a great opportunity to build social skills by making new friendships with fellow musicians and student musicians from other schools.
