Welcome to Air Force JROTC. Through classroom instruction, extra-curricular activities and hands-on experiences, students will learn many pieces that goes into developing their character. This includes, but not limited to personal responsibility, community service and self-discipline. Students will have classes in Aerospace Sciences, Leadership, Team Building and Physical Training.
My Education and Professional Background
I'm a retired Master Sergeant with 21 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. While serving in the Air Force I was a Fuels Specialist and a Logistics Squadron Resource Advisor. I have been an AFJROTC Instructor for several years, in Oklahoma, Illinois and Arizona. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Finance from Trident University International.
My Educational Philosophy
AFJROTC program is based on the Air Force Core Values: Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence in all we do. We teach these values to students and set a foundation that they can use as they continue through life. Our program is not only academics but also leadership development and physical training to develop a well-rounded individual. We are not recruiters but, rather mentors, who instruct students and then give them opportunities to mature from teenagers to young adults and become successful as they pursue their life goals. Ultimately, we can't do it for them, but we can give them some tools that will they will be able to use throughout their lives.
