Welcome to HLA, I love working at a place that aids students in identifying there potential. This is my 2nd year here and the growth I see in our students is phenomenal. Students leave Hill with a new found perspective of their abilities, options and future.
My Education and Professional Background
I was born and raised in Michigan. I attended Florida A&M University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science. I spent over 15 years in the Criminal Justice field. I have been a part of the education system for over 10 years and a CUSD staff for 4 years.
My Educational Philosophy
I decided I wanted to get on the front end (education) instead of the back end (justice system) . I have a passion to educate and guide students so they do not become part of the justice system in the future.
