    Welcome to Speech with Mrs. Fruit! I am excited to work with your child this school year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    My name is Paige Fruit and I am one of the speech-language pathologists at Auxier Elementary School!
    I grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire for both my bachelor's and master's programs. I graduated with my master's degree in May of 2020. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist with the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Arizona Department of Education. 
    My husband and I were ready to replace the Midwest winters with the desert sun, so we made the move to Queen Creek in June of 2020! We've enjoyed our time in the heat and exploring everything the Phoenix area has to offer.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that communication is the key to unlocking so many doors for children. My goal is to give my students the necessary tools to communicate with their families, teachers, and peers, and to participate in a variety of settings both during and outside of the school day.
