    Hello! I am so excited for this school year. It's going to be fun!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I started teaching in 2013. I taught 1st grade for three years, then kindergarten for four years. I also taught just 3rd grade gifted for two years. Last year, I taught social science and science to our 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade gifted students. 

    I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University, Master's in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University. My endorsements: Early Childhood, Structured English Immersion, Reading Specialist, and I am in the process of getting my Gifted Endorsement.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all students can and should learn in a safe, respectful, and positive environment. I also believe that when we set our expectations high, students will rise to the occasion and meet their full potential. They are capable of so much more than we realize!
