Traficano...
Hello Hornets and welcome to our PE website. I am super excited to be teaching PE to all of you this school year. Look forward to working with and getting to know each and every one of you! Let's make it an AMAZING year!!
My Education and Professional Background
Bachelors in Physical Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville Masters in Adapted Physical Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all children, no matter their ability, should be made to feel they are important and they matter. I have true compassion for my students and I strive to provide a safe space for all to learn and grow -- a space that allows them to be comfortable in trying new things and letting them know it's okay to make mistakes. My students are encouraged to work hard, and are challenged daily to be the best they can be. I am very passionate about my profession and am always looking to grow in my teaching. My students inspire me daily to want to be the best teacher and person I can be for them. I am hopeful that through the lessons I teach, my students will become active individuals and lifelong lovers of exercise. But most importantly, I hope that through my teaching, my students will learn what it means to be a person of character, that making mistakes is part of the learning process, and persevering through all challenges will only help them to become stronger individuals.
