    I'm very excited to welcome you to one of the most amazing years your child will have in school.     My Education and Professional Background

    I have a bachelor's in K-6 from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. My gifted endorsement and master's in Curriculum and Instruction are from Kent State University, also in Ohio.I have my Early Childhood Endorsement and personal experience as an ELL student.This is my 23rd year of teaching: ten with kindergarten cuties and 13 in gifted education, a few years with multi-age group.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I love teaching, observing children work and inspiring them to go farther than they dreamed. Students' sense of humor and their childlike sagacity enthuse and motivate me. In addition to challenging curriculum, I want to improve children’s self-efficacy and cognizance of the talents they possess. Seven Habits of Happy Kids and Habits of Mind are some of the awesome tools we will use to assist us in building life-long habits and attitudes toward finding solutions.
