    Welcome to sixth grade math! My name is Jeff Everett, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Arizona State University, as well as a master's degree from Grand Canyon University. I am certified in the spalding method, structured English immersion, and have my middle grade mathematics endorsement. I have been teaching since 2010 and have had the opportunity to teach a variety of grade levels, from 3rd through high school.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that children learn best in an environment that is caring, supportive, challenging, and fun! In addition, I feel that both the educational needs, and social emotional needs of all children must be met for students to reach their maximum potential. It is my goal to create lifelong learners, with the perseverance to take on the most challenging tasks, while demonstrating integrity and respect for themselves and their community.
