    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a BA in Sociology from the University of Washington and an MAT in Middle Grades Mathematics from Western Governors University. This is my third year teaching at Payne.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every student is capable of success, whether it's in math, other classes, or life in general. My goal is to challenge students to become well-rounded problem solvers by developing their resiliency, persistence, and confidence. I believe that math can be fun and applicable to our daily lives. This year I will show students that mistakes are how we learn, and we can all push each other to be our best.
