    Welcome to Casteel! I am super excited to be a Colt and look forward to working with you and your student.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I began my teaching career in 2005 after earning a bachelor's degree in Secondary Integrated Science Education from Kent State University and later a master's degree in Educational Technology from Walden University. I have gained invaluable knowledge from teaching all over our country (OH, TN, VA, AZ) and look forward to continuing that here at Casteel. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all my students should walk into my classroom and feel loved, heard, and safe. It is when this happens that I can take the role of an educational facilitator to guide students to challenge themselves and reach their goals through diverse learning experiences with confidence.
