    Hello! My name is Mariana De La Pena and I am very excited to be teaching Spanish DLI 1st Grade this year. I look forward to a great school year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University. I possess an Early Childhood Endorsement and a Dual Language Endorsement. I started my teaching career in 2011.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every child is unique and special. In order to be successful, students need a safe and positive environment where they can learn and grow. As a teacher, it is my goal to provide students with the skills they need to succeed and to help them reach their highest potential.
