    Welcome!

    Hello Tarwater Toros and Families!

I am so excited to be working with you all again this year. For our new families, my given name is Virginia Guerrero and that is the name you will see for my email, but please call me Ginny 😉.

Personal Background: I grew up in IN then joined the Army where I met my husband, Carlos. We have 5 beautiful children, 1 gorgeous granddaughter and an awesome dog. Our family activities keep us very busy. I enjoy attending my younger son’s sporting events, watching movies, bowling and hanging out with my family.

    My Education and Professional Background

I attended Wichita State University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1997 and my Master of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences specializing in Speech Language Pathology in 2000. I have enjoyed providing speech and language services to students of all ages in the school settings in KS, CO, and AZ since that time. I currently hold an Arizona Teaching Certificate for Pre-K-12 in Speech Language Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and I am licensed to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Arizona.

    My Educational Philosophy

I believe all students can make progress toward their goals with practice and hard work.

The Choice is Yours! Why Choose Tarwater Elementary?

We are so happy to work together with you this school year at Tarwater, where you will find a wonderful family of professionals at your disposal for feedback, questions and overall support.
