    Welcome!

    Hi there, my name is Ms. Contreras and I will be your child's special education teacher. In our class, it is our goal for everyone to be successful. Your child will receive specialized instruction to help meet their IEP goals. Through collaboration with their general education classroom teacher, small group instruction and pull out instruction in the resource classroom your child will be provided with the best services to meet their needs.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a SEI (Sheltered English Immersion) Endorsement from Grand Canyon University, class of 2018, Go Lopes! I am a Wilson Level 1 Practioner. This will be my fifth year with the Chandler Unified School District. I previously taught at Weinberg and Rice Elementary, working with grades 1st-3rd. This is my third year at Basha and I am excited to begin a new year with our diverse community of learners. Go Bobcats! 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe every child can be successful and should be given the chance to do so. Through specialized instruction and a variety of strategies we will help each individual student feel successful and have a positive learning experience!
