    Welcome!

    My name is Audra Frazier and this will be my 3rd year at Santan, but my 9th year teaching. My husband and I are (Western) New York natives and we moved to Arizona in 2014. I guess you could say we traded snow-tires for a sunroof. We have 7 year old twins that keep us very busy and also attend Santan. They will be in 2nd grade this year, so you may get a chance to meet them as well!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from a college near my hometown, called Fredonia, where I received my Masters in Inclusive Education.   When we moved here in 2014, I started my career in Scottsdale School District.  I spent 7 years at the same school.  I taught for three years as a 3rd grade teacher, and three years as a reading/math interventionist.   I started at Santan teaching 6th grade for two years, and this year I will be returning to 3rd grade!  I can't wait to be a part of your child's educational journey!

    My Educational Philosophy

    My educational philosophy and goal for teaching, is to create a community within our classroom, to have all students enjoy learning, laugh, and reach their goals. Learning takes teamwork. I often like to use a braid when describing this. It is harder to break a braid when all three strands are tied together. On strand of the braid representing the student, teacher and parents. With us as a team, we can be strong and achieve great success. We're in this together!
