    Welcome!

    Welcome to the new Dual Language Exploration Pre-Kindergarten Class! We are going to have so much fun learning and discovering together while being introduced to the Spanish language. I am so excited to be on this school journey with your child and to be a part of the school family here at CTA Freedom! Bienvenidos!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Saint Mary's College of Notre Dame with a degree in Elementary Education and minors in Spanish, ESL and Bilingual Education.  I also hold an Early Childhood Endorsement.  My past classroom experiences have been in both public and private schools in several neighboring school districts.  I have taught ESL/Bilingual Preschool and Kindergarten as well as English-only Preschool and Kindergarten classes. 

    I grew up in the Chicagoland area, but currently live in Chandler with my husband and four amazing children.  My two oldest sons attend college at ASU.  I have two children still at CUSD, a son at Perry and a daughter at Santan Elementary School.  Spending time together as a family is very important to us.   I am so excited to be a part of the CUSD family as a teacher and now as a Falcon! 

    My Educational Philosophy

    Creating a safe and welcoming space, that makes each learner feel successful and confident is my goal. By offering a variety of classroom experiences in two languages, I hope to instill in students a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
