    Welcome!

    Hello, my name is Delaney Drake and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this school year! A little about me: I was born and raised Fresno, California. I moved out to Arizona when I started college at GCU. I love exploring the Phoenix area by going on different hikes and finding yummy food and coffee spots!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I attended Grand Canyon University where I received my Bachelor of Science In Elementary Education as well as my certificate in Structured English Immersion. I began teaching in January 2021 at Jacobson Elementary. I was lucky to join the Basha family in 2022! 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I am passionate about creating a safe and positive classroom environment where students feel loved, cared for, and comfortable expressing who they are while deepening their learning.
