    Welcome!

    My name is Marthana Hall and this is my second year as the Math Specialist at Bologna Elementary School. My true passion is teaching students who struggle to help them become more proficient and confident in all areas of life.


    I am originally from Kansas but have lived in Chandler, Arizona since 1988. My husband Bob and I have a terrific daughter, Marissa, who attended Northern Arizona University. Go Lumberjacks! We enjoy our two rescue puppies Samwise and Rosie. We enjoy hiking, snow skiing, swimming, reading and spending time together.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have taught all grades from kindergarten to high school since 2001. I especially enjoy teaching elementary math. For the last 10 years, I have developed and implemented 4 elementary math intervention programs for students with low math fluency scores. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe all students can be enthusiastic learners if provided a safe, challenging, and engaging atmosphere with the appropriate accommodations and expectations.
