    Welcome!

    I taught in CUSD for 24 years. This is my 32nd year of teaching. I am married and have two children. I have been teaching since 1992 and have taught at the second, third, fourth and sixth grade levels. I was selected as one of 200 teachers across the country to attend the Michelson ExxonMobil Teacher Academy for Science in 2010. Outside of school, I keep busy with my two children's activities. I love to travel and watch sports.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My educational philosophy is that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure and caring atmosphere in which to grow and mature. I believe as an educator that I need to help students reach their fullest potential intellectually by providing an environment that is safe, encourages risk-taking, and welcomes the sharing of ideas.
