Hello Families!
My name is Jennifer Laferriere, better known as Ms. Jen. I am so excited to be a part of your child’s educational journey this year! I am looking forward to getting to know your kiddos and I am excited to watch them grow as the year progresses! We are going to have a lot of fun learning together! Pre-K is filled with exciting growth and discovery. My main goal is to provide a safe, loving, and engaging environment, filled with a wealth of exciting and fun learning opportunities.
A little about me, this will be my third year teaching Pre-K but I am no stranger to education. This is my 8th year with Chandler Unified, 7th at Santan. Prior to teaching Pre-K I was a paraprofessional in our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms, as well as in our 2nd/3rd grade specialized classroom. When I am not teaching I enjoy cheering my son on at soccer games, having fun family time with my husband of 16 years, my 2 kids, and our 4 year old Shepherd/Husky Lucy. Both of my kids currently attend Chandler Unified Schools. My son is a 7th grader at Bogle Junior High and my daughter is a sophmore at Hamilton. I also love camping, gardening, listening to all kinds of music, especially the 80's and 90's, and I love Denver Broncos football and the Colorado Avalanche! I can't wait for an exciting year in Pre-K!
