    Welcome!

    I am thrilled to be a part of your student's academic journey this year. This is my 6th year teaching. I have previously taught at the high school level, however I am really enjoying what middle school has to offer. I am passionate about all things English, from novel studies to writing skills and more. I am super excited to be a part of the ACP family and help develop the minds of our mighty Knights!

    I am originally from Champaign, IL but I have lived in Arizona permanently for the past 7 years. If I'm not working, I am usually crafting, playing sports (bowling, volleyball, or softball) or trying a new food spot! In my spare time you can find me with my husband TJ and daughter Espyn, and our pets, Luna and Stray Cat, either watching tv or just relaxing :)

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that the educational process is a team effort--the teacher, the student, and the parent(s) are all a part of the process to help students succeed as much as possible! With that being said, I want to challenge students to be independent thinkers and to push themselves to the next level every day. My hope to achieve success is to have the students always be curious, hardworking, and optimistic about every opportunity they are given.
