    Welcome!

    Welcome to the WGA WildCAT Family! I am so excited for the 2024-2025 school year and look forward to building a fun, caring, and positive classroom environment for all my Pre-K students. Families, thank you for being partners with me at the start of your child's educational journey.

    My Education and Professional Background

    In December 2020, I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. I also have an SEI endorsement. From 2021-2023, I was the Site Substitute here at Weinberg, where I became part of a wonderful learning community and gained invaluable experience working with K-6 gifted children. Before the pandemic, I worked for two years at New Vistas Center for Education as an aftercare/teacher's aide. I was thrilled to teach Pre-Kindergarten in its inaugural year at Weinberg Gifted Academy, and I am just as excited for my second year here!

    My Educational Philosophy

    All children are capable of learning, and all children deserve a school environment where they feel safe, cared for, and respected as they grow, try new things, make mistakes, play, and adapt. In Pre-K, it is my desire and responsibility to create a classroom community that lays the groundwork for lifelong "love of learning," fosters a positive self-image, and gives young children the appropriate social-emotional and academic tools for the next school year. We will be brave as we start this new stage of life, kind as we get to know one another and build our community, and adaptable as we learn and grow.
