    Welcome!

    This is a fantastic year to be at CTA Freedom. I’m ecstatic to begin this year’s journey with our amazing students and staff. I couldn’t be happier to be part of a well-rounded team. While education is one of my true passions, I also enjoy spending time with my family, playing soccer, paddleboarding, and hiking. My family is keeping me on my toes as my wife and I have two daughters, Maya and Maddison.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and my Graduate Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University. I am currently certified in Elementary Education and endorsed in Gifted Education. Following the completion of my graduate degree, I began my career in education, teaching gifted students in Queen Creek. I taught at Knox Gifted Academy from 2015-2023, and I am excited to be here at CTA Freedom as Dean of Students.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. There are several values that I try to teach students, both by my words and my actions: the importance of organization, preparation, respect for other people and their views, the value of clear and effective communication, and the centrality of equality. I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. Children have taught me to open my mind and my heart to the joys, innocence, and diversity of ideas in the world. I will never forget how to smile with the new, cherish the old, and laugh with the children.
