    Welcome to 6th grade! I am thrilled to be working with you and your child this year. Together, we can make sure that your child will have a productive and happy school year. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any comments, questions, or concerns you may have.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I grew up between Chicago, IL and Sandy, UT. I moved to AZ to attend ASU and graduated with a degree in education. I taught for 7 years in the Kyrene School District. During that time I received a Master’s Degree in education. I have spent the past 7 years working with dyslexic students

    My Educational Philosophy

    My educational philosophy is that all children have the ability to learn. In addition, from being diagnosed with dyslexia as an adult, I understand that not all children learn the same way. My job as an educator is to motivate my students to want to learn and to differentiate my instruction to meet the needs.
