    Welcome!

    I'm Mrs. Dean and I am so excited to be a third grade teacher at Tarwater Elementary! This school year will be my seventh year teaching. I LOVE teaching and my daily goal is to make our classroom a happy place to learn and grow. My husband and I moved to AZ January 2023 from Williston, ND where we were both born and raised. I have a golden retriever who loves going on car rides to get pup cups!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Valley City State University in North Dakota with a Master of Education in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I also have a graduate certificate in college teaching from the University of North Dakota. Before moving to AZ, I taught third grade at the same elementary school that I attended as a student!

    Passionately dedicated to fostering creativity, developing character, giving students lenses with which to view the world and provide them with the skills they need to reach their potential and lead productive lives.
