    Welcome!

    Hi! My name is Alexia Schieffer, and this year I will be your 8th grader's Honors or On-level Language Arts teacher at Bogle Junior High. I am so excited to work with you and your students!

    Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking, road trips, going to concerts, reading, writing, painting, cooking, playing guitar, and watching The Bachelor with my grandma.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my Bachelors of Art in English Literature at Arizona State University with a certificate in Secondary Education. 

    I had the amazing opportunity of completing my student teaching residency here at Bogle and am so excited to be back!

    I plan to return to ASU online to pursue my Master's in Secondary Education.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My teaching philosophy is based on finding the unique ways that my students learn best and adapting my lessons to create meaningful learning experiences for them. I am also passionate about cultivating a positive classroom community that supports each student's social and emotional needs.
