My Educational Philosophy

Students learn because they are inspired to do so. The interactions with peers open their minds to new ideas and develop their ability to communicate. The opportunities to make their own discoveries through inquiry create problem solvers and critical thinkers. Students learn best in an environment that recognizes and provides for individual needs. A classroom should be a place that is inviting, comfortable and stimulating. All students should feel a sense of belonging which contributes to the cohesiveness of the class. High expectations motivate and guide students to be responsible and keep them actively engaged in their learning.
