Welcome to Andersen Junior High! Our school has a variety of diverse programs to meet your child's specific educational needs.
My Education and Professional Background
I received a B.A. in Political Science from Siena College in 1983. I was certified to teach Social Studies from the State University of New York At New Paltz in 1988 I received a M.A. in Education from the State University of New York in 1992. I received my Arizona teaching certificate in 1996 after moving here from New York. I am certified to teach Elementary, Education, Secondary Education in Social Studies and Special Education K-12.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe in challenging students to put forth their best effort on a daily basis in a safe learning environment where I can employ my sense of humor to connect with students and make them feel comfortable in my classroom.
