My Education and Professional Background
Hello students and parents. My name is Mr. Faria, and I have been teaching and coaching for the Chandler Unified School District since 2006. I encourage leadership, confidence, and accountability in all of my students and athletes. I have a beautiful, intelligent wife and three little girls who keep me very busy. I love food, football, and family and I think of myself as a culinary engineer. I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and I take every opportunity to go back to visit my family. I plan on having a great year full of discovery, enlightenment and remember, 'Excuses are the bricks to build the house of failure.
My Educational Philosophy
Our main purpose as educators is to prepare students for high school and beyond. We emphasize individual accountability both socially and academically and encourage students to realize their potential by helping them to harness their creative and critical thinking skills. Educators should strive to promote an atmosphere of mutual respect that encourages positive citizenship, educational growth, and a joy of knowledge.
