Perry HS has a Clear Bag and Clear Water Bottle Policy for all spectators that will be strictly enforced at all athletic events.

 

Athletic Clearance Packets are now open for spring sports will open on January 6, 2025. All forms must be completed and submitted online through Aktivate (formally Register My Athlete). 

 

1. You will need to sign up or log in to Aktivate (Be sure to use Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari). Fall sports including Badminton, Cross Country, Flag Football, Football, Golf, Freshman/Transfer Pom and Cheer, Swim/Dive, Freshman Tennis, Unified Sports, and Girls Volleyball will open on July 1, 2024. Winter Sports including Basketball, Soccer and Wrestling will open September 3, 2024.  Spring Sports including Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Track and Field, Beach Volleyball and Boys Volleyball will open January 6, 2025.

2. AIA Annual Pre-Participation Physical Examination Form (1 page doctor form - must be completed after March 1, 2024).  Note - If you are using Telemed, you still must get a doctor's actual signature or an electronic signature and doctor's office stamp.  Electronic signatures only will not be accepted.

For 2024-25 Non-cut sports (Cross Country, Football, Wrestling, Track, and Unified Sports) must download their Activity Fee Payment receipt to Register My Athlete.  This can be paid at the Bookstore or through Infinite Campus.  You can also designate this as part of your Arizona Tax Credit to Public Schools. NOTE: Fees will not be refunded if the student decides not to participate or quits the team.

Badminton - 10-4 Regular Season, 5th Team in state power rankings. Defeated Highland in State Round 1, defeated Xavier in the State Quarterfinals, lost to Hamilton in the State Semi Finals. Alexa Englert/Tina Nguyen made it to the Semi Finals of State Doubles and were named All-Premier Region 1^st Team Doubles. Robyn Bui made it to the Quarterfinals of State Singles and was named All-Premier Region 1^st Team Singles. Kylie O'Neil and Masie Stoten were named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team Doubles. C.C. Hall and Riley Hunt were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention.  

Boys Cross Country - 17th Place at State. Caleb Faba was 36^th at State and was named All-Premier Region 2nd Team. Roan Milner was 85^th.  Allden Buyack was 102^nd. Joshua Ozaeta was 116^th, Joseph Perez was 118^th, Anuj Iyer was 125^th, and Maxwell Trickel was 153^rd. 

Girls Cross Country – 6th Place at State. Sectional Runner Up. Ava Withem was 19^th at State for All-State 3^rd Team and was named All-Premier Region 1st Team. Malia Salcido was 30th and named All-Premier Region 1st Team. Alyssa Hancock was 39^th and named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Danika Torres was 61^st and named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Madilyn Mountain was 66^th and named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Emerson Rhodes was 71^stand named All-Premier Region 2nd Team. Maycie Boblitt was 110^th.

Flag Football – 3-9 Regular Season, 29th Team in 6A State Power Rankings. Mia Adams (DB/LB) was named All-6A Conference 2^nd Team and All-Premier Region Defensive Player of the Year. Vera Papp (P) was named All-6A Conference 2^nd Team and All-Premier Region 1^st Team. Isis Willingham (Rusher) and Chloe Beal (DB/LB) were named All-Premier Region 1^st Team.  Charlotte Bell (WR), Estella Ewing (Rusher), Sophia Garibay (RB), Taylor Hinton (WR), Mckenna Horne (DB/LB), and Elise Servis (Flex) were named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Eden Myers and Anailah Perry were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention.  

Football – 5-5 Regular Season, 8th Team in 6A State Power Rankings. Won the Honor Bowl. Defeated Chandler in State Round 1. Lost to Brophy in the State Quarterfinals. James Dean (P), Jax Waddell (OL), LJ Walker (WR) and Nate Wheeler (LB) were named All-Premier Region 1^st Team. Ethan Austin (DL), Maddox Ford (LB), Jayden Kimling (DB), Simba Mahaso (DB), Hayden Moon (WR), Jackson Sands (LB), Ricky Stewart (DL), and LJ Walker (KR) were named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Sean Camping, Braidi Glascock, Peyton Grako, Brody Pace, Devin Sarpy, and Kael Snyder were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention.

Boys Golf - State Runner Up. Ethan Butters placed 3^rd at State and was named All-Premier Region 1^st Team. Luke Bratetic placed 18th and was named All-Premier Region 1^st Team. Jack McDonough was 23^rd and named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Ty Gould was 29^th and named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Caden Horvath was 34^th and named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Brady Reynolds was named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Scott Uyeshiro was named All-Premier Region Coach of the Year.

Girls Golf - 4th Place at State. Taylor Underhill placed 3^rd at State and was named All-Premier Region 1^st Team. Makaleigh Churan was 15^th and named All-Premier Region 1^st Team. Bella Keselman was 36^th and named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Leah Smiles was 53^rd and named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Harper Mowry was 61^st and named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention.  

Boys Swim/Dive – Did not score at State. Jack Arnett was 28^th in the 500 Free. Alex Gonzales was 32^nd in the 50 Free and was named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Jacob Rose was 35^th in the 200 Free and named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. The 200 Medley Relay of Ryu Cheng, Gonzales, Rose, and Trent Woods was 23^rd. The 400 Freestyle Relay of Arnett, Gonzales, Rose, and Woods was 25^th. 

Girls Swim/Dive – 23^rd Place at State. Mia Rodic was 11^th in the 500 Yard Free, 17^th in the 200 Yard Free, and was named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Samantha Hill was 14^th in Dive. Elizabeth Ray was 22^nd in the 100 Yard Free, 24^th in the 200 Free and named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Mckenna Jones was 33^rd in the 200 Yard IM. The 200 Free Relay of Alexandra Bacyznski, Jones, Ray, and Rodic was 12^th. The 400 Free Relay of Jones, Danica Kunz, Ray, and Rodic was 19^th. The 200 Medley Relay of Kunz, Jones, Charlie Mcdonel and Addison Sroufe was 20^th.

Girls Volleyball – 13-4 Regular Season. 9th team in State Power Rankings. Defeated West Point in the State Play-in, lost to Queen Creek in State Round 1. Kenna Cogill (Hitter) was named All-6A Conference 1st Team and All-Premier Region Offensive Player of the Year. Lily LaFlesch (Libero), Kail Shill (Setter), and Avery Stones (Hitter) were named All-Premier Region 1st Team. McKaley Herr (Hitter) was named All-Premier Region 2^nd Team. Avery Boothe and Gabby Johnson were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention.

Boys Beach Volleyball (Emerging Sport) – 7-1 Regular Season. 3^rd team in State Rankings. Had a BYE in State Round 1, defeated Williams Field in the State Quarterfinals, lost to Casteel in State Semi Finals. Grey Carter and Tate Higgins finished 3^rd in the Pairs Tournament.

Boys Basketball - 13-5 regular season. 1st team in Open and 6A state power rankings. Premier Region Champion. State Open Division Champions. Defeated Willow Canyon in Open State Round 1. Defeated Deer Valley in Open State Round 2. Defeated Brophy in the Open State Quarterfinals. Defeated Basha in the Open State Semi Finals. Defeated Millennium in the Open State Finals. Koa Peat was named Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year, Arizona Max Preps Player of the Year, All-6A Conference Player of the Year, All-Premier Region Player of the Year, AZ Central All-Arizona, and won a gold medal with the USA U16 Basketball Team. D'Andre Harrison was named All-6A Conference 1st Team, All-Premier Region 1st Team, and AZ Central All-Arizona Honorable Mention. Nolan Brown was named All-Premier Region 1st Team. Barron Silsby was named All-Premier Region 2nd Team. Dominic Avalos and Don Tinsley were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Jeffrey Nwalor was named a Phoenix Chapter of the National Alliance of African American Athletes Scholar Athlete of the Year. Coach Sam Duane was named National Association of Basketball Coaches Outstanding High School Coach of the Year, All-6A Conference, and All-Premier Region Coach of the Year.

Defeated Mesa in the State Semi Finals. Defeated San Luis in the State Finals. Carson Pridie was named Arizona Gatorade Soccer Player of the Year, All-6A Conference Player of the Year, All-Premier Region Player of the Year, and AZ Central All-Arizona. Aiden Yen was named All-6A Conference 1st Team and All-Premier Region Offensive Player of the Year. Caden Dosmann (Forward), Tyler Haren (Defense) were named All-6A Conference and All-Premier Region 1st Team. Blake Rekuc (Defense) was named All-6A Conference 2nd Team and All-Premier Region 1st Team. Jaymis Brown (Forward), Brody Donovan (Midfield), Olaf Jurczykowski (Midfield), and Jacoby Franklin (Defense) were named All-Premier Region 2nd Team. Mac Bowers and Ronak Bhatia were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Coach Jason Berg was named All-6A Conference and All-Premier Region Coach of the Year.     

 

Girls Soccer - 11-0-1 regular season. 1st team in state power rankings. Premier Region Champions. Defeated Red Mountain in State Round 1. Lost to Hamilton in State Quarterfinals. Sydney Snowden was named All-6A Conference Defensive Player of the Year, All-Premier Region Offensive Player of the Year, and AZ Central All-Arizona. Saydie Herbert (Forward) was named All-6A Conference 1st Team, All-Premier Region 1st Team, and AZ Central All-Arizona. Joliye Brass (Midfield) was named All-6A Conference 2nd Team and All-Premier Region 1st Team. Rylee Hatcher (Midfield) and Mia Adams (Defense) were named All-Premier Region 2nd Team. Raegan Hussey and Trinity Lujan were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. 

 

Boys Wrestling – 14th at the State Tournament. Maximilian Garibay (106lb), Ferrin Goldstein (132lb), Cameron Phipps (144lb - Sectional Runner Up), Jayden Kimling (157lb), Nathan Lauritzen (175lb), Ethan Austin (190lb - Sectional Runner Up), Bo Hall (215lb - Sectional Runner Up), and Braidi Glascock (285lb - Sectional Champion) qualified for the State Tournament. Jayden Kimling took 4th place at State and was named All-Premier Region 1st Team. Garibay, Cash LaFlesch (113lb), Goldstein, Lucky LaFlesh (138lb), and Hall were named All-Premier Region 2nd Team. Austin, Lauritzen, and Phipps were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention.  

 

Girls Wrestling – 9th at the State Tournament. Arianna Mauch (165lb - Sectional Champion) was the State Runner Up, was named All-Premier Region 1st team and AZ Central All-Arizona Honorable Mention. Addison Palmer (100lb - Sectional Champion) took 3rd place at the State Tournament and was named All-Premier Region 1st team. Paige Hedeen (126lb) and Maclayne Justus (138lb - Sectional Runner Up) qualified for the state tournament and were named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention. Sephora Scarlett was named All-Premier Region Honorable Mention.

 

Spiritline - Pom Small Jazz Open State Champion. Show Cheer and Game Day AIA Division 1 State Runner Up.  Pom 5th Place at AIA State. Game Day 4th at Nationals. Show Cheer 5th at Nationals.  Pom and Jazz 12th at Nationals.
