    Welcome!

    Hi! Welcome to Ryan and 4th grade! My name is Erika Barron and I am so excited to begin another year at Ryan with you! I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and have been in Arizona since 2005. I live with my husband, three daughters, and Cooper. Cooper is our yellow lab. It will be a great year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from California State University Long Beach and received my masters degree from ASU in Curriculum and Instruction in 2005. I began teaching for the Chandler District in 2005.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal is to create a classroom community that is nurturing, safe, positive and filled with laughter. I hope to foster independence and cultivate an engaging learning environment where each child strives to reach his or her full potential. My goal is to inspire a life-long love of learning in each child in my classroom.
